★★★★★★★★★★4.6 · 6,654 reviews · 6 - 7 hours · from $61Our pick

Join Northern Lights Safari Tromsø for a 6 to 7 hour Aurora chase led by trained guides such as David, Claudia, Koren, and Elo. You may travel deep into the fjords or toward the Finland border for clear skies, then warm up with hot drinks, cookies, thermal suits, a campfire, and professional Aurora portraits.

“This was an amazing choice, especially if you don’t have much experience chasing the Northern Lights. We were lucky with the weather and had clear skies. After driving about 30 minutes from Tromsø, we saw the lights almost immediately and enjoyed them throughout the entire experience. Our guide, Koren, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He provided warm drinks and even set up a bonfire, which made the evening extra cozy. He also took as many photos as we wanted. At the end of the trip, we could choose one photo included in the price, and additional pictures were available for purchase (around €10 per photo). Overall, highly recommend this experience!”

“Spectacular experience start to finish, I would recommend to anyone who is thinking about going. Afterwards, we said we would encourage friends to plan a whole trip to Lofoten just to go on the sea eagle safari. We had an excellent guide, and the embarkation process was simple and explained well. Our expectations for wildlife sightings in a 2hr boat ride were modest — and we were wowed by how close you get to the animals and their frequency in numbers. I would have brought gloves if I had it to do over (although they will lend you a pair)”
